By downloading, installing, or using Paycheck Companion (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is provided by Cove Studio LLC ("Cove," "we," "us"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of New Jersey, USA.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Paycheck Companion on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Store / Apple App Store terms of service.

Paycheck Companion is free to download and use. No subscription is required.
Refunds are handled per Google Play / Apple App Store policy. Cove does not process refunds directly. Google Play offers automatic refunds within 2 hours of purchase; subsequent requests should be submitted via Google Play's standard refund flow. We honor any refund Google or Apple processes.
We may change the premium unlock price for future buyers. Anyone who has already purchased premium retains permanent access at no additional cost.
You do not need an account to use Paycheck Companion. All app data is stored locally on your device.
PAYCHECK COMPANION IS A TRACKING TOOL ONLY. WE ARE NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR, BANK, BROKER, LENDER, OR ACCOUNTANT.
The App does not provide personalized financial advice, investment recommendations, tax guidance, debt counseling, or legal advice. All information presented in the App (such as "free balance this paycheck," bill mapping, or 3-paycheck-month flagging) is calculated from data you manually enter and is meant as a budgeting aid only. For financial decisions of any consequence, consult a qualified professional. Cove Studio LLC is not responsible for any financial decisions you make using information from the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; that defects will be corrected; that the App is free of harmful components; or that calculations in the App are accurate (they are based on data you enter).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, COVE STUDIO LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid Cove in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cove Studio LLC, its members, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App in violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, your infringement of any third-party rights, or any financial decisions you make based on information presented in the App.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, or any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, any premium unlock purchase is non-refundable unless required by law, your right to use the App ends immediately, and all on-device data remains on your device until you uninstall the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
The App includes a "More from Cove" tab that displays other Cove Studio digital products available on Etsy. Tapping a product card opens the relevant Etsy listing. We may receive proceeds from any subsequent purchase you make on Etsy (as a seller). Etsy's terms apply to any purchases you make on Etsy.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, USA. If you are an EU resident, this clause does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Cove Studio LLC, not Google or Apple. Google and Apple are not responsible for the App or its content. However, Google and Apple are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You agree to comply with the Google Play Terms of Service (and, when applicable, the Apple App Store Terms of Service) in addition to these Terms.
